We are the data controller for personal information collected in connection with this website and our general business activities. Where our affiliated entities in separately determine the purposes and means of processing personal data in connection with their own activities, they act as independent data controllers for that processing under their respective local law.

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer to oversee our compliance with data protection law. Our Data Protection Officer is responsible for informing and advising us on our data protection obligations, monitoring our compliance with UK GDPR and our internal data protection policies, advising on data protection impact assessments where required, acting as the point of contact for the Information Commissioner's Office, and acting as the contact point for individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights or raise a concern. • Enquiry correspondence — name, organisation, role, email, and message content when you contact us directly.
• Website analytics — Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights are cookieless, collect only aggregate, non-identifying performance and page-view data, and store nothing on your device.
• Session analytics — with your consent, Microsoft Clarity records how you interact with a page, including scrolling and clicks, using a cookie or similar technology tied to your browsing session, so that we can see which content is useful. This data is pseudonymised rather than anonymised.
• Organisation identification — with your consent, your IP address is shared with Leadfeeder, which uses it to identify the organisation you are visiting from. This tells us which firms have visited the site; it is not designed to and does not aim to identify you as an individual, and we do not use person-level identification. Our careers pages are excluded from this entirely — we do not identify the organisation of anyone reading about roles with us.
• Communications — email correspondence and meeting notes when you engage with our team.

Some of the service providers referred to above may process personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place before the transfer takes place — this is either a UK adequacy regulation confirming the destination country provides an adequate level of protection, or contractual protections such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. • Legitimate interests — administering this website and keeping it secure and functioning correctly; managing our business relationships; and responding to and following up on enquiries. In each case we've considered that this processing is proportionate and doesn't override your interests or rights.
• Consent — session analytics (Microsoft Clarity), organisation identification (Leadfeeder), and any marketing communications, each withdrawable at any time.
• Legal obligation — where required by applicable law, including our anti-money laundering and financial regulatory obligations.

We retain enquiry data for up to 5 years from last contact, consistent with our record-keeping obligations under the FCA's SYSC 9 rules. We also retain communications email correspondence and meeting notes for a period of up to 5 years. Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to these retention requirements.
