Carlo is a Managing Partner and serves as Chief Operating Officer for North America at Tower Peak Partners, based in the firm’s New York office. He is responsible for leading and overseeing the firm's operational strategy across the region, driving organisational effectiveness, scale, and strategic execution.

Prior to joining Tower Peak, Carlo was Managing Director for Private Markets at State Street where he was responsible for developing and executing the firm's global go-to-market strategy for private markets.

Before State Street, he served as President of PenderFund Capital Management, where he led all non-investment functions including product strategy, distribution, investor relations, marketing, operations, and technology, and played a pivotal role in defining and executing the firm's long-term growth strategy.

Carlo spent a decade at Manulife Investment Management as Managing Director and Global Head of Product Management and Client Solutions for Private Markets. As a member of the leadership team, he played a central role in building and scaling the firm's global private markets platform across infrastructure, real estate, private equity, secondaries, and private credit.

Carlo began his professional career at RBC Capital Markets and later joined HSBC Global Asset Management as an Alternatives Product Specialist. He also served as Chief Operating Officer at a prominent UK-based family office, where he led firm-wide operations and strategic initiatives.

Carlo holds a BA in Economics from the University of Victoria in Canada, and an MSc in Finance from the University of London in the United Kingdom.
