Biography
Chris Ferris is a Managing Partner and serves as North American Head of Capital Formation & Investor Relations at Tower Peak Partners, based in the firm’s New York office. He is responsible for capital formation and investor relations across the region, overseeing the firm’s engagement with institutional investors to strengthen the firm’s presence in North America.
Prior to Tower Peak, Chris was Head of Investor Relations and Capital Formation at New Rhein Healthcare Investors, where he built the firm’s co-investment infrastructure, and led the fundraising strategy for a life sciences venture capital platform targeting endowments, foundations, pensions, consultants, family offices, RIAs and global wealth platforms.
Before New Rhein, Chris held the same title at Cohen Circle, developing and executing investor relations and fundraising strategies for venture capital funds, and co-investment opportunities across institutional investors.
Chris spent six years at Franklin Templeton as Director and Head of Investor Relations for Franklin Venture Partners, where he built the fundraising, investor relations and product development functions. During his tenure he scaled LP commitments and launched and managed a co-investment programme. He also oversaw the full LP lifecycle, from RFPs and DDQs through to legal documentation, closing and onboarding, and served as the primary point of contact for all external LP communications.

There, he evaluated and sourced private market funds across venture, growth, buyout, private credit, secondaries and real estate strategies, presenting recommendations to the internal investment committee and authoring the division's quarterly private equity market outlook.
Chris began his career at John Hancock Funds in Boston, and held roles at Smith Barney Citigroup in its Mutual Fund and Annuity Group, and at Fred Alger & Co. as an Investment Analyst in the Portfolio Analytics Group. He later returned to John Hancock Funds as a Product Manager.
He holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business, New York, where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and a BA in Business Management from Gettysburg College.
