Elisa is a Managing Partner and serves as Chief Investment Officer - Global Intellectual Property at Tower Peak Partners, based in the firm's London office. She is responsible for the firm's Media & Entertainment division. Her responsibilities extend to deal origination, transaction negotiation, structuring and execution, and overseeing portfolio management for Media & Entertainment within the firm's investment team.
Before Tower Peak, Elisa founded Jacaranda Group, advising institutional investors and family offices on mandates across Media & Entertainment. This included senior advisory roles with international VC firms such as IPR.VC in Finland and Screen Capital in Chile.
Prior to this, she was Head of Media Finance at Bank Leumi UK, overseeing the bank's lending book across film, TV, music and videogames, with a focus on structured-finance facilities for North American and European entertainment studios.
Previously, Elisa spent eight years with the Taurus Asset Finance Group in a variety of roles, focusing primarily on the origination and structuring of transactions and the management of private investment funds in Entertainment and Sports.
Elisa also established a film finance firm in London, enabling the production of independent films which were screened at prestigious film festivals such as Sundance and Venice. Prior to this, Elisa worked in the City of London both as a finance lawyer at Clifford Chance and as an investment banker in the structured finance debt team of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.
Elisa began her career as a corporate finance lawyer in her native Brazil, where she advised international investment banks in connection with issues of Eurobonds and IPOs by Brazilian entities and participated in the privatisation of the energy and oil sectors.
Elisa holds an MA in European Audiovisual Management from the Media Business School, Malaga, and an LLM in International Law from the University of São Paulo. Elisa also holds a double undergraduate degree in Law and French from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil and Université de Nancy, France.
