Michel is a Partner at Tower Peak Partners and Head of Industrial Private Equity for Europe, based in the firm's London office. He is involved in the firm's industrial private equity investment activities across Europe, including origination, transaction negotiation, structuring, portfolio management, and investment strategy within the Global Investment team.

Prior to Tower Peak, Michel was General Manager and Managing Director of MSWC (A Masdar Company) in Amsterdam. Michel oversaw its operational establishment and held executive responsibility for the company, with a portfolio spanning Europe, the Middle East and Africa, comprising a combination of organic and inorganic growth investments, including the investment that created Africa's largest pure-play renewable power company, alongside strategic clean energy anchor and follow-on investments across Europe.

Before MSWC, he spent a decade at Masdar in Abu Dhabi, where he held positions as Senior Manager in the Office of the CEO and Head of Corporate Finance. He worked to establish Masdar's investment lifecycle management process and portfolio risk management practice and oversaw the development of investment cases spanning utility-scale clean energy generation globally and sustainable urban real estate within Masdar City. He also worked to establish bilateral and multilateral cooperation initiatives with the US Department of Energy, the International Finance Corporation, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the European Investment Bank, and the founding of Lockheed Martin's Center for Innovation and Security Solutions in Masdar City. As part of this institutional engagement, Michel presented on clean energy cooperation to former U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and then-Vice President Joseph Biden.

He began his career at Deutsche Bank in New York, in Global Markets.

Michel holds a Professional Certificate in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a multi-year technical programme. He also holds an MSc in Global Affairs from New York University, a Graduate Certificate in Management from Harvard University, and a BSc in Business Administration with High Honours from Northeastern University. He has completed short programmes at MIT in systems engineering and lifecycle design, technological innovation theory, clean energy materials science, and energy and climate policy, and has studied private equity, M&A, and risk management at the Yale School of Management with the EDHEC-Risk Institute and at Harvard Business School.

He was a participant in The Alan Turing Institute's inaugural data-centric engineering summit in 2021 and the London Mathematical Society's 2024 colloquium on trends in algorithm design. He is a member of the Harvard Club of the United Kingdom.
