Wolfgang is a Managing Partner of the firm and its Group Chief Investment Officer with additional regional remit for industrial private equity across EMEA, based in the firm’s London headquarters. He is responsible for managing the firm’s origination, execution and portfolio management activities.
Before Tower Peak, Wolfgang was a Managing Director in Copenhagen Infrastructure Partner’s first High Growth Markets Fund for renewable energy assets, with special emphasis on Latin America.
Prior to this, he spent 16 years as Head of Siemens’ principal investments entity in infrastructure and private equity. His remit was global and focused on both captive technologies as well as innovative and complementary investment opportunities across renewable and conventional energy, transportation infrastructure, medical treatment facilities as well as a range of other industrial infrastructure projects. Wolfgang led the establishment of Siemens Financial Services’ London Office and also led a series of successful offshore wind investments during his tenure.
Wolfgang started his career as a Banker in the Project Finance Department of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in Frankfurt and in Rio de Janeiro where he focused on energy and other industrial infrastructure projects as a lender and financial advisor.
Wolfgang holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Freiburg University, Germany and a Master’s in Physics from the University of Kiel, Germany.
