Rodrigo is a Managing Partner of the firm and Chief Investment Officer for Infrastructure in South America at Tower Peak Partners, based in the firm’s Rio de Janeiro office. He is responsible for infrastructure origination, deal analysis, negotiation, execution, and portfolio management across the region.

Prior to Tower Peak, Rodrigo was the co-Founder and Managing Partner of Regent Capital Partners, a Brazil-focused M&A and investment advisory firm focused on renewable energy investment management and industrial corporate finance advisory to mid-market, large multinational companies and global financial sponsors with a presence in Brazil. In this role, Rodrigo oversaw and was responsible for managing investments into a substantial portfolio of distributed generation solar plants across Brazil.

Before Regent Capital, Rodrigo was an Investment Bank Director in the M&A Metals and Mining Team at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London. In this role, he led a number of strategic transactions for Brazilian mining giant Vale and advised on a number of significant transactions globally, including SSI, Tata Steel, Norilsk Nickel, China National Bluestar, Rusal, and Elkem Carbon.

Rodrigo also worked at ICFL, a London-based corporate finance advisory firm focused on supporting private equity firms with investment activities in sectors such as mining, materials, and energy. He began his career with HSBC and Banco FonteCindam in Brazil.

Rodrigo is a Chevening Scholar and MBA graduate of London Business School. He is also a CAPES Scholar and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), as well as a Master’s degree in Capital Markets from Business School IBMEC, based in Rio de Janeiro.
